Why is the BioMass Module Important?

We want to convert as much CO2 to energy as possible to provide our country with the products and building blocks needed to keep this world running smoothly.

Approaching nearly 100% sustainability is our goal. We have devised a way to reach over 99% conversion of the CO2 as we grow the algae in our current configuration. Reaching that level of CO2 conversion is no easy task. It is just one more valid step of developing the most productive algae- growing operation in existence today.

Uniqueness of The BioMass Module

Our BioMass Module, a unique photo-bioreactor, has been designed in order to produce an extremely high volume of over 30,000 different strains of algae. This BioMass Module provides its own flexible light source, so it may be easily adapted to the individual needs of each client’s algae. The module is scalable in production quantities and its modular design will fit into any warehouse, farm, or power plant for easy transportation around the world.

The BioMass Module can:

Consume enormous amounts of CO2, and biologically sequester or beneficially convert atmospheric and industrial CO2 into marketable products

Producing Algae in the Smallest Footprint

Current competitors are only able to convert up to 50% of the CO2 pushed through their systems. With the MARG Energy design and machinery, up to >85% can be converted. The algae growing platform maximizes productivity within a smaller footprint and wastes the least amount of useful CO2. MARG Energy should be able to exceed 5,000 gallons of algae oil (Algae Strain = Botryococcus braunii) per BioMass Module sitting on just 320 sq ft, not an acre.

The MARG Energy competitive edge is the development of the only high-output algae growth apparatus (module), which can provide the ability to grow algae successfully in a confined unit, and at any location. The module can deliver product from any requested strain of algae by adjusting the recipe (software) via an internet connection using SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition).

The Energy Industry’s Revolutionary Product

The product designed by MARG Energy is revolutionary in the energy industry. Algae are typically grown in a one acre pond. MARG Energy is uniquely able to produce high volumes of algae in a relatively small enclosure, called a module. This is advantageous for many reasons, but there are two major reasons why the MARG Energy design is superior to open pond operations.

Open pond operations deal with outdoor air contamination issues on various fronts
Open pond operations are susceptible to weather climate changes, and algae growth is highly affected when the temperature varies more than 10°F

MARG Energy methods for growing algae are far better than existing methods using ponds and raceways. Our method mitigates some of those environmental limitations, including weather, climate, quality, speed of growth, and contaminant issues.

The limitations are not a factor with the MARG Energy BioMass Module. Our goal is to produce quality algae at a much faster rate, be able to produce it 24/7, and then transport it locally. Businesses and consumers will also be able to purchase our scalable module, thereby capturing the air quality and material production benefits for themselves.

Generating Value from Waste

We generate value from the waste leftover from the original waste!”

Let’s explain what we mean by that.

First, we generate value from the waste of the main product we ship off-site.

Second, we reuse the leftover residue created in that process.

Third, we re-burn these leftovers to generate another layer of value. If not possible to burn due to site conditions, we ship this layer off-site, pelletizing the combustible material for resale to industrial partners.

We don’t settle for just reusing some waste. We attempt to reuse all waste. The perspective is that waste, no matter what its origin, is often not useless.
